100 word good-byes
Dear M,
Although we hugged good-bye three times I still can’t believe you’re going to be gone. I felt connected with our Vietnamese heritage as well as our status. You’re always in the art room and everyone knows who you are with only good things to say. You gave me hope; you showed me that some people are willing to pull the hard work. You were always so open and fun and I thank you again for all your plaster casts! I hope I can use them well. It’s a shame we can’t share more of our art together. I’ll miss you.
